On the anniversary of his wife's death, Pan-ho and Ho-young create an alibi for the day of the accident.

A favor for Pan-ho pulls his close friend and colleague Jeong Yi-hwa into the web of deception. Sang-hyeok wants to seek revenge. Ho-young spends the day with a dangerous new love interest.

Pan-ho continues to use his power to obscure details of the accident as gang boss Kim Kang-hun searches for his son's murderer. Sang-hyeok makes an attempt to flee the country.

Things aren't adding up for Detective Jang Chae-rim in her investigation. Prosecutor Kang So-Young pays a visit to the Kim's.

Pan-ho, Yi-hwa, and Joo-hee meet to discuss their next move, unaware that they are being followed. Elsewhere, the Seobu Gang attacks the Boodu Gang's territory.

Kim Sang-hyeok's trial begins; Ho-young and Pan-ho have a difficult conversation.

Kang-hun uncovers a shocking truth about the culprit, while Pan-ho is forced to make a difficult decision to save his son.

As the trial slowly comes to an end, Ho-young remains determined to carry out his plan. Jang Chae-rim talks to Tee Rab's girlfriend.

Ho-young takes the opportunity to confront Sang-hyeok when he is invited to a family dinner.
